An accident occurred on Orhei-Chisinau highway. Four cars violently hit near Ratus village, Criuleni district and a truck was seriously damaged. After the impact, the driver of the car that produced the accident was transported to the Emergency Hospital from the Capital, as he was injured.

The accident took place this morning at 7. According to the police, the driver of one of the cars stopped at the crosswalk and let a pedestrian cross the street.

Two other cars stopped behind him. Then, a car with excessive speed that didn't manage to break hit the front vehicle.

According to a doctor, the man, 36 was injured in the head zone.

The specialists offered him the required medical aid.

People of the law will establish the circumstances of the case. 

The guilty driver risks a fine of 1.500 lei and six penalization points.
