Chisinau City Hall informs about the educational system from the Capital for 2018-2019 studying year.

87784 pupils study at the 145 institutions. 9392 pupils are in the first grade and 4692 students were accepted by lyceums. It is worth mentioning that 1340 students left the country and 200 returned.

The educational system includes 159 institutions of pre-school education. In Chisinau there are 131 kindergartens and other 28 primary school institutions. On September 3, 2018, only 149 out of 159 kindergartens started to work. These host 34.509 children.

11 kindergartens stopped their activity, because three don't have a chicken, while eight should be repaired.

Now, the kindergartens from Chisinau need 382 tutors, 275 room attendants, 60 cooks and 41 dishwashers.
