He turned his big house into a real museum. It's about Dumitru Tătaru from Sadova village, Călăraşi district, which managed to collect an impressive collection of over 2000 bottles of wine, brandy and divine which he received from all corners of the world.
The man says he started collecting the unique pieces 36 years ago when he bought a bottle of melon from Indonesia from Ungheni: "On a table someone sold some bottles, and I looked at the label, I come from Indonesia and I am very surprised, as it is not the case in Moldova to bring it to Indonesia. "
Former teacher and school director, Dumitru Tataru, proudly boasts of every bottle he has: "One of the first bottles has surprised me a lot, you see what bottle, with a grater if you want to open it and flow."
And friends help him to expand his collection.
"When they come to me, they come with something, especially because I know that I already have a collection and how not to come to me with a bottle in collections, but others have gone to the competition that has more bottles", said Dumitru Tătaru.
The collector keeps a strict evidence of the goods kept in the museum: "The row number, the date of registration, as it is called, is vodka or liqueur".
For 20 years, Dumitru Tătaru sang in the ensemble "Ciobănaş" from Sadova, and now, when he is sad, he comes to the big house and he remembers the period during which he held concerts.
Dumitru Tătaru says he will leave his bottle collection as the inheritance of his daughter, who hopes to follow his passion.
