The Customs Service's management ordered the initiation of a service inquiry to Prime Minister Pavel Filip's intention to investigate a case of collecting customs duties on a batch of goods declared as being for personal use.
"The investigation is to determine all the circumstances of the case and, depending on its results, the measures provided for by the legislation in force will be taken", is the release issued by the Customs Service.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that Prime Minister Pavel Filip asks customs officers to distinguish between smugglers and people entering the country with child goods. The prime minister asked them not to play with them, as in the case of a man who complained that he was forced to pay over 900 lei for clothes bought in Romania for his girls.
Pavel Filip asked for an investigation into the customs administration and asked for the money to be returned to the man.
