Ten men and a woman aged between 18 and 33 were detained by the Anti-Drug Officers, being suspected of selling drugs in particularly large proportions to night clubs in Chisinau.
Five of them are students, and one of the detainees was previously investigated for hooliganism, robbery and robbery, being sentenced to 4 years with suspended custody, and at the time of being held in probation.
The arrest of suspects took place this week, as part of an operation carried out by the officers of the Anti-drug Directorate of the National Investigation Inspectorate jointly with the Chisinau Prosecutor's Office, the Râşcani office.
The survey found that group members created a scheme to identify and sell to drug clients ecstasy and hydroponic marijuana pills.
At the same time, for police evidence, policemen carried out more control purchases in the recreation areas, buying drugs at the price of 200-350 lei for an Ecstasy pill.
After 29 searches conducted in Chisinau, policemen detected and lifted 550 Ecstasy pills, 50 Alprazolam psychotropic pills, about 50 grams. hydroponic marijuana, money from drug trafficking, handicrafts for drug use, small scale electronic scales.
The police have determined that drugs, namely ecstasy pills, have been brought to the territory of the Republic of Moldova by smuggling from one of the countries of the European Union
The value of confiscated drugs is about 200,000 lei.
Ten detainees have preventive measures in the form of arrest and one is under judicial control.
If they are guilty of their guilt, the detained persons risk a penalty from 7 to 15 years.
