BORDER SITUATION: Week's results. How many violations have been recorded

Between 10 and 16 September 2018, at the "green border" and border crossing points, border guards notified 78 events, documenting 94 people, who violated the Moldovan border and migration legislation, as follows:
37 violations of the border area and border crossing regime;
27 foreign nationals have violated the regime of residence on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
five drivers have ignored the rules of passenger transportation;
nine attempts of illicit trafficking in goods.
199 records were filed, of which 14 were on INTERPOL and 185 on the information received from the national law enforcement authorities.
During the previous week, 55 foreign citizens, as well as 43 means of transport, received refusal of entry into the Republic of Moldova. Two Moldovan citizens were not allowed to enter the Russian Federation, and to a countryman in the European Union. Six Moldovan citizens were deported from Russia, and three were from the EU.
The activity of finding and examining contraventions within the Border Police subdivisions presented the following statistical indices: 52 minutes, with fines in the amount of 62 800 and the fines of 28 550 lei.
The border police officers had 17 meetings with the representatives of the border authorities of Ukraine and Romania for the purpose of exchanging information and receiving-surrendering the offenders.
Over the past week at the crossing points, the flow of persons constituted 433,908 crossings, of which a larger number - 219,491 passes in the exit direction from the Republic of Moldova, while the traffic of the transport units showed a value of 100,360 crossings, with a higher number of vehicles registered with foreign registration numbers - 51 659 crossings.
The most crossed border crossing points were:
PTF Leuşeni - 72 645 people crossings,
PTF Chisinau International Airport - 71 416 people crossings,
PTF Otaci - 47 387 persons crossings,
PTF Sculeni - 40 288 people crossings,
PTF Giurgiulesti-Galati - 34,956 people crossings,
PTF Cahul - 27,942 persons crossings,
PTF Criva - 17 546 people crossings,
PTF Palanca - 16 576 people crossings,
PTF Costeşti - 15,623 people crossings,
PTF Tudora - 13 718 people crossings.
The busiest day of the previous week was Sunday, September 16, 2018, with a flow of 74,984 people crossing. Of the total crossings, a higher number was in the direction of entering the country - 38 202 crossings, as well as several passages of the Moldovan citizens - 42 967 crossings.
In order to support the participants in cross-border traffic, the Border Police recommends:
-checking the validity and status of the travel document on which the state border crosses.
-transit of all existing border crossing points in order not only to overload some of them, and to avoid the formation of rows at the crossing points.
-consult the "TRAFFIC ONLINE" application on the official Border Police website, which shows the average waiting times at the border crossings (road) for cars.
-manifestation of understanding, patience and discipline, taking into account the rules of finding and crossing the state border.
