The salary of a doctor should reach 10 thousand lei in the next years. The Democratic Party intends to index the salaries of the doctors, announced Sergiu Sarbu within a meeting with the employees of Cimislia district hospital. 

"The salary of 4.500 lei for a doctor is too small. It doesn't motivate us at all", said Dumitru Dvornicius, neurologist.

"We will make everything possible to index your salaries, so these will reach 10.000 in the near future", said Sergiu Sarbu, PDM deputy.

The managers of Cimislia hospital are sure that a higher salary will motivate the doctors not to leave the country.

"The young doctors and teachers benefit of an allowance of 45 thousand lei. We will offer them the possibility to rent a house", said Sergiu Sarbu, PDM deputy.

The young doctors say that the reforms in medicine environment are very useful.

"At the beginning, my salary was not higher than 1.500 lei. When the salaries' reform was initiated, my salary was four thousand lei", said a doctor.
