Silvia Radu was proposed for the chair of the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection. The announcement of the changes in the Government was made by the President of the PDM, Vlad Plahotniuc.
Vlad Plahotniuc said the decisions were made on the basis of the citizens' assessment, but also the Prime Minister.
Silvia Radu was president of Union Fenosa during the years 2008 to 2015. A year later, she participated in the presidential election.
From November 2017, until April 2018, Radu served as interim mayor of Capital. He resigned at the end of June after local elections in the capital. She was the only independent candidate, gaining 17.65 percent of the votes, ranking third.
Silvia Radu was born in 1972. She is married and has three children.
