A resident of Capital was detained by police being suspected of committing two thefts. The suspect has previously been tried for similar crimes.
According to the City Police, the first case occurred on May 12, when the suspect, taking advantage of the victim's inattention, stole from the threshold of a grocery store located on O.Ghibu Street a rotating hammer worth 2,600 lei.
The second case surprised by the Survival Chambers was recorded on August 11, on the Onisifor Ghibu Street in Bucharest's Buiucani District. The individual, passing by a car left unattended with the open door, stole 2 bags of personal goods, causing the victim an estimated loss of 23,000 lei.
The individual was detained for a period of 30 days and is prosecuted for theft. If he finds himself guilty, he is in jail for up to 4 years.
