Prime Minister Pavel Filip highly appreciated the work of US Ambassador to Moldova, James Pettit, during a farewell meeting held today. The Prime Minister stressed that the support of the United States of America, consistently granted to our country, has been felt in various fields through concrete actions and initiatives.
"I want to thank you for your contribution to the consolidation of the Moldovan-American dialogue. We have a friendly relationship between our states, we have always discussed the existing problems and I continue to count on sincere relations", said Pavel Filip.
The officials exchanged views on the work priorities and reforms promoted by the Executive.
"We continue to undertake the governance program based on the Association Agreement with the European Union because the only way we have a European path is," the Premier said.
In turn, Ambassador James Pettit thanked for the open dialogue and the possibility of being in permanent contact with the Chisinau Executive, mentioning that the United States will continue to support the modernization of our country.
