President of Parliament held an official visit with vice assistant of US President
Fional Hill, the deputy assistant of the USA President, Director for Europe and Russia within the National Security Council encouraged the reforms implemented in Moldova, at her meeting with Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
The American official highlighted the importance of the economic growth and mentioned the need to provide free and correct elections in 2019. Hill welcomed the initiative to built a strategic center for Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine. In this context, she said that we should gather our efforts to stop the Russian influence in the Eastern Europe.
At his turn, Andrian Candu talked about the actions that has already been taken to strengthen the cooperation with Ukraine and Georgia, in order to facilitate the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU and the project regarding the Strategic Cooperation Center. In this context, he talked about the legislation rules that come to stop the propaganda.
Also, the President of the Parliament talked about the reform in the financial-banking system that brought stability and comes to raise the credibility of the banking system.
Referring to the energetic security, the talked about the projects that aim to diversify the energy sources. Andrian Candu talked about the reforms agenda and mentioned some elements that aim to improve the live expectancy.
Andrian Candu is in an official visit to the US, as a vice President of the Democratic Party from Moldova. The costs of this visit are covered by the public money.
