27 business initiated by Moldovans who returned to the country after working abroad will receive funding under the PARE 1+1 program.Beneficiaries have already signed agreements with the Organization for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises. In total, they will receive over six million lei in grants. This will allow them to create 60 jobs.
Most businesses are in the field of agriculture. 17 of the beneficiaries will cultivate cereals, plant vineyards, plums and nuts. Six companies will be active in the provision of services. And four enterprises - in the manufacturing industry.
Of the 27 businesses that will benefit from funding, eight are now set up and 19 will be expanded.
The PARE 1 + 1 program is implemented by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Organization with the financial support of the European Union. Beneficiaries receive half of the amount invested in business as a grant.
Since 2010, more than 1,200 businesses have received financial support. The state has granted almost 250 million lei and the economy has won over 780 million lei.
