Prime Minister Pavel Filip discussed today with a young 18-year-old in Căuşeni, who wants to start a business in Causeni. It applied to the advance program for an amount of 650,000 lei, the total value of the investment being 1 million lei. With this money, the young entrepreneur wants to open a bakery where she will produce Italian sweets. The prime minister said the state supports the launch of the business and wished the young woman success: "It's not easy to do business. It's not easy. That means courage, initiative, success".
In talks with businessmen from Căuşeni district, Pavel Filip mentioned that the Government will continue to pro-business. "We want to be a business partner and friend, because that's the only way you can develop your country through public and social investments. Without a strong economy no one can build roads, can not increase pensions and wages", said The Prime Minister.
In turn, the entrepreneurs talked about the challenges they face, among which: the need to introduce a single tax in agriculture, the illicit transportation of passengers, the lack of anti-hail systems, and the failure of the wastewater treatment plants, due to inefficient management by the "Waters of Moldova". The Head of the Executive has given assurances that the reported problems will be examined by the Government.
The prime minister reviewed the actions taken by the Government to stimulate the business environment, including: reducing the number of control bodies, simplifying reporting procedures, modernizing the Labor Code, reducing the number of permissive acts, but also the recently approved tax reform that would reduce the underground economy, wage bill phenomenon, or tax evasion.
In the second quarter of 2018, GDP grew by 5.2%, budget revenues increased by 15% in the first half of the year, and exports increased by 30% to $ 1.5 billion. For this year, the state has allocated 45 million lei, subsidies provided in advance to young people and women who start business in agriculture.
