The Constitutional Court has established the interim president of the country. Therefore, President Igor Dodon was suspended from office after he repeatedly refused to sign the decrees appointing ministers Nicolae Ciubuc and Silvia Radu.

"1. The circumstances justifying the interim office of the President of the Republic of Moldova under the Government reshuffle procedure are stated, the deliberate refusal of the President to fulfill the constitutional obligation to nominate the candidatures repeatedly proposed by the Prime Minister, which represents within the meaning of Article 91 of the Constitution, a temporary impossibility of exercising its powers in this respect.

2. Pursuant to Article 91 of the Constitution, the President of the Parliament or the Prime Minister will, as interim president, issue the decrees appointing the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment and will oversee their oath.

3. This opinion is final, it can not be subjected to any attack. It enters into force at the date of its adoption and is published in the Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova", stated in the decision of the magistrates of the Constitutional Court.

The Constitutional Court will decide today whether to establish the interim president of the country. This was after the DPM deputies filed a petition to this effect late last week. The reason served Igor Dodon's repeated refusal to appoint Nicolae Ciubuc and Silvia Radu as Ministers.

Legislators have asked the Court to examine emergency referral to avoid institutional blockade. According to the Constitution, thePpresident may reject the candidatures only once, and if the prime minister repeats them, he is obliged to sign the decrees.

Previously, the High Court also set up temporary temporary office in the presidency three times after Igor Dodon refused to appoint more ministers and sign the anti-propaganda law.
