They left home for a few hours and came to the Health Center to get free medical check ups.
More than 120 elderly people from the village of Chircăieşti, Căuşeni district were examined by doctors from Chisinau.
"Touch your nose with your fingertip."
In the village of Chircăieşti there are about 800 retirees. Many of those who have health problems have to go about 15 km to Causeni District Hospital.
"We don't have the possibility to go there, as the transport does not work, there I have to schedule, wait for a week, here you come, you've passed, it's easier."
Glad that they are not forgotten by the authorities, people hope that the treatment prescribed by doctors will strengthen their health.
"With a strong heart, I'm in awe of everything, let's see, give us a lecture, let's live."
"Maybe something is changing, some other drugs, better we can give it."
"I see, I do not understand. That's E. N, it looks like the letter N".
"We strive to do something useful, prescribe remedies, with treatment, with all that is needed for the patient", said ophthalmologist Tatiana Ceban.
Local authorities welcome the project initiated by the Democratic Party of Moldova, through which, over a few months, over 2400 retirees were examined free of charge.
"Grandparents, our grandparents are very happy with this gesture from the Democratic Party, especially from Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc. And with all your esteem, if you allow me, a diploma on our part", said Grigore Repeciuc, the mayor of Causeni district.
"I hope that this project will highlight the problems of the citizens and will be redirected to specialists with the diagnosis that will be detected", said Căuşeni, president, Nicolae Gorban.
The Healthy Care project was launched in May in Hancesti district.
