Amendments of Agreement between Moldova and Turkey Governments on international road transport have been initialed
Today was initialed the Protocol amending the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on International Road Transport from June 3, 1994.
The negotiating group was led by Serghei Bucataru, State Secretary for Transport of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
The amendment to the Agreement on International Road Transport between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Turkey aims at confirming the process of liberalization of the bilateral and transit road transport, as well as the dynamization and streamlining of the Moldovan-Turkish cooperation relations in this field.
Under the provisions of the Protocol, bilateral and transit shipments will be maintained under the liberalized regime without transport authorizations, which will develop road transport, freight exchange and facilitate the travel of the individuals of both states.
At present bilateral relations in the field of international road passenger and freight transport between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Turkey are established on the basis of the Intergovernmental Agreement, signed on May 3, 1994, in Chisinau, which stipulates that the transport of goods in bilateral, transit and in / from third countries is carried out on the basis of authorizations.
