Minister of Internal Affairs signed a document that will simplify process of readmission of Moldovan citizens who stay illegally in Germany

On 26 September 2018, the Minister of Internal Affairs met with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, ES Angela Ganninger, within which the Administrative Arrangement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and the Federal Ministry of Interior, Construction and Community and the Ministry of Business Foreign Affairs of Germany on the application of a simplified procedure for the readmission of Moldovan citizens living in the territory of Germany.
Thus, during the dialogue, the Minister mentioned the friendship and cooperation relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Federal Republic of Germany, in particular, on sustainable cooperation in the field of readmission, which led to a common agreement on the introduction of simplified administrative procedures in this domain, based on national and international law. Also, Alexandru Jizdan reviewed the results obtained within the Ministry and the subordinated institutions, thanks to the support provided by Germany.
In turn, ES Ambassador Angela Ganninger expressed the opening of the German side and her personal side to the continuation of the processes initiated by her predecessors and involvement in various MIA projects aimed at improving the services provided to citizens, including through the exchange of experience not only in this domain.
Please note that the Administrative Arrangement is initially concluded for a period of one year and will enter into force on the date of signature and the period of application may be extended by mutual written consent of the Parties.
