This is why there will be those who will come on October 6 and 7 at the National Wine Day organized in the Great National Assembly Square. There will also be a peasant yard. Guests, especially foreigners, will see how clay objects are made, but also how traditional Moldovan dishes are cooked. The organizers also prepared a rich artistic program.
"From 11.00 there will be four awards, so there will be the Advahov Orchestra, Zinaida Julea, Igor Rusu, this from the beginning, from 12.00-13.00, after that a fanfare, the school of wine", said the director of the National Violation Office and Wine, Gheorghe Arpentin.
As in previous years, Bachus' spirits will be celebrated in the country's wineries. At the same time, 20 Moldovan producers will present their production at the Wine Day organized in Bucharest.
"The celebration of this holiday will be" Come from the soul of Moldova "and aims to promote wines with Geographical Indication, as well as the quality and originality of our wines", said Agriculture Minister Nicolaer Ciubuc.
60 winemakers will participate in this edition. Among them, for the first time, there will be also five Romanian producers. Around 50,000 tourists are expected to celebrate. The organizers say that all the hotels in the capital, but also those belonging to the wineries, do not have any available rooms. At the same time, 16 journalists from Italy, Poland, and Romania will also arrive in our country.
"The National Wine Day is actually an autumn rhapsody when both the successes of the winemakers and the successes of the tourism industry are interwoven in a great way in the Great National Assembly Square, but this year also in the whole country," said the deputy director USAID Moldova, Diana Lazar.
Expenditures for organizing the event are estimated at 2.2 million lei.
