A Ukrainian citizen which transported consumer goods without any documents of its provenience is criminal investigated. He was stopped on the national route linking the Vulcanesti crossing point with Vulcanesti.

The 46 years old man was at the steering wheel of a minibus with Ukrainian license plates. Thus, as a result of the checks, in the cargo compartment was found a lot of goods for which the driver did not have documents of possession or origin.

The goods transported were purchased from Ukraine and illegally imported into the Republic of Moldova, thus attempting to escape the import customs duties.

Border police have drawn up a report, and the case is still being investigated to determine all the circumstances.
