Moldovan boxers came home with 4 medals from the "Nicolae Linca Golden Belt" international tournament, organized in Galaţi, Romania.Dumitru Galagoţ and Victor Carapcevschi became champions in weight categories of up to 64 and 75 kilos, respectively.
Vasile Belous conquered the "silver" in the 69 kilograms category and Egor Bejenaru won the bronze medal at 64 kilos. The national lot consisted of 8 gunmen.
"I am pleased with all that happened at this tournament. I think it was a big competition in 64 pounds, 69 pounds, 75 pounds, 81 pounds were very strong boxers, they were good opponents, we had who to learn something", said Petru Caduc, the national boxing coach.
The 43rd edition of the tournament gathered over 150 athletes from 14 countries.
