Grandparents are the ones who have taught us what patience, gentleness and common sense mean. To them we have only respect and admiration. This message comes from the President of the Democratic Party, Vlad Plahotniuc, in his Facebook post, congratulating him on the occasion of the World Day of Elderly People.

The PDM president urges us to be more caring and understanding with our grandparents.

Also, Vlad Plahotniuc writes that we must show gratitude and respect for their work and not forget about the lessons of life that they offer us.

"In front of the elderly people, we have respect and admiration, and they are the ones who have taught us what patience, gentleness and common sense are: to be careful with them, to show them that they are dear to us, as they did in their relationship with us, for their toil, for the life lessons they offer us, to demonstrate their gratitude and appreciation to them, thank you, dear grandparents!" is the message of DPM leader Vlad Plahotniuc.

Until the end of the year, free consultations will benefit elders from 17 districts of the country. DPM stimulates the participation of the elderly in the country's socio-political life.

In 2011, the formation created the National Organization of People in Eternity "The Treasure of the Nation", which now counts over 23,000 members.
