George Simion was expelled from Moldova. He can't enter Moldova for five tears
The President of the Civic Platform "Action 2012", George Simion, was expelled from Moldova. Following a decision of the Migration and Asylum Bureau, the activist was declared undesirable person for a period of five years on the territory of our country.
He complained on the social networks that he was hit by the Moldovan authorities. However, the information was denied by both the Migration and Asylum Bureau and the Border Police in our country, as well as by the police officers in Romania. Authorities in both countries have said that Simion did not show any signs of physical violence.
The Migration and Asylum Bureau said that the Romanian activist was declared an undesirable person on the basis of Article 55 of the Aliens' Aliens Act. It states that it is a measure against a foreign citizen who intends to carry out activities that would endanger national security or public order.
Simion arrived last night under escort in the custody of the Romanian authorities. According to the Border Police, the teaching document came to Simon's possession without being damaged or traced to him.
Moreover, if he had been injured, it would not have been possible to surrender it to the Romanian authorities without first aid.
Moreover, there is no official complaint by this hour, which Simion could immediately submit to the border crossing point of the Republic of Moldova at the moment of the surrender.
Requested by our television station, the representatives of the Territorial Inspectorate of Border Police Iaşi told us exclusively that during the formalities of entry to Romania, George Simion did not file any complaints or requested medical care.
Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau Daniel Ioniţă said that Simion did not ask for consular assistance either.
"On the Emergency telephone of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau, a phone that is available 24 hours a day, seven days out of seven, no request for consular assistance was received. Two notifications were received on the Embassy's e-mail addresses to the situation last night, which, however, are being analyzed. It is a citizen of Timisoara, "said Daniel Ioniţă, the ambassador of Romania to Chisinau.
Previously, the activist has also been banned several times from entering the country. At the end of August, Simion was not allowed to cross the border because of aggressive behavior when he wanted to cross the border with several Romanian citizens.
And in early 2015, George Simion was declared persona non-grata.
Half a year later, he was expelled and declared an undesirable person in the country for five years.
In the autumn of the same year, the ban was lifted by the Chisinau Court of Appeal.
