Chinese company is interested to invest in Marculesti International Airport

Today, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, held a meeting with the representatives of an important Chinese company. The company is interested in the development of joint projects in the field of production, on the territory of Free International Airport Marculesti, as well as the export of food from Moldova to China.
In the discussion, Chiril Gaburici talked about the reforms made by the Government in order to create a competitive and attractive business climate for foreign investors, but also presented the facilities benefited by the residents of the free economic zones in our country. Referring to Marculesti International Free Airport, the Minister mentioned that this is a strategic point for the volume of goods transiting the Republic of Moldova, which offers immediate access to road, rail and air transport in a single node.
"The Republic of Moldova offers various opportunities for foreign investors, in particular by granting tax incentives to economic agents operating in industrial parks and free economic zones, such as the 7% single tax, simplified reporting procedure - companies present a single report. ready to offer all necessary support for the arrival of the big investors in our country",the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure said.
Representatives of the Chinese company reiterated their readiness to invest in our country, noting that the Republic of Moldova is a bridge between East and West.
Currently, eight residents are working in the "Marculesti" International Airport.
