Regional solidarity with regard to security is a great thing for us. The declaration was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip after the meeting of the heads of government of GUAM member countries.

"I wish to express my firm conviction that the GUAM cooperation process will continue to exert a positive impact on our efforts to achieve the common goals of consolidating democracy, developing the economy and trade between GUAM member states. in order to strengthen security in our region to overcome challenges and counteract threats.

At the summit, the prime ministers of the four Member States addressed economic issues and signed a joint statement.

"The Declaration signed today is an expression of our desire to further deepen cooperation within the GUAM framework. It is a direct commitment to developing the organization's socio-economic transport, technical and scientific and humanitarian potential. the implementation of the Free Trade Area in GUAM.

Another topic today was to develop and deepen the GUAM-USA and GUAM-Japan partnerships as well as the need to expand cooperation with other regional structures or international partners.
