Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss" will provide 40,000 lei to the people who suffered from the explosion in the block on Moscow Boulevard. Vlad Plahotniuc announced this, in a Facebook post.
Also, the Foundation's representatives will all have the necessary support according to the needs of those who suffered from deflagration.
The founder of Edelweiss sent condolences to all families and relatives of the deceased.
"I regret the unprecedented tragedy in the Rascani sector. I congratulate them to all the families and relatives of those who died after the explosion, and the injured want health and power to come back as soon as possible.
Beyond our thoughts of solidarity, the people who have suffered from this tragedy also need concrete help.
I have discussed with Prime Minister Pavel Filip, I understand that there have been solutions for the state to repair the destroyed dwellings. Priority is now being done to ensure the safety of the entire affected building.

Among the died are a 77 years old man who died on the hospital bed. Underneath the ruins were found the inanimate bodies of a woman and a child.
Among the injured is a young woman whose apartment was deflagrated. She was taken out of the ruins of two boys walking in the park near the block.
The Chisinau Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case for murder from reluctance after the explosion last night.
If it turns out that the owners of the apartment where the deflagration was not operating the gas cylinder according to the rules, then they risk up to six years of jail.
According to the rescuers, one of the tenants forgot to close the cylinder valve, and the explosion occurred when the owner lit a match.
