The total sum of the loans offered by the banks increased. In August, the Moldovans took loans worth a half of a billion lei from 11 banks of the country. According to the data of the Expert Grup, in August, the total loans stock registered 34 billion lei, 500 million more than in July.

The majority of the loans, over 150 million lei were offered in the food industry. The second ranks the personal needs. Also, the Moldovans requested loans to buy houses.

In this sense, the beneficiaries took 134 million lei. According to the economic experts, the phenomenon is explained by people's interest to First House project.

Also, the bank's profit is higher, it reached one billion lei at the end of August.
