Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu wrote on his page on a social network a thankful message to the firemen, doctors, saviors, volunteers and all people that took part and helped victims of the incident happened on the Moscow Boulevard from Chisinau.

"My dear ones, I want to thank all those who came to help the people who suffered from the deflagration on Moscow Boulevard from Chisinau. Firefighters, doctors, rescuers, volunteers, and all the others who once again demonstrated that we can be a united people.

Each brought a little and at the same time brought extraordinary warmth to those who suffered from this tragedy.

We are a nation rich in people. Good people #forMoldova!", wrote Andrian Candu.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the tragedy took place on Saturday night at around 23 o'clock in a building on Moscow's Capital Boulevard. Following the tragedy, four people died and eight others were hospitalized, four of whom were injured.

PUBLIKA TV launched a campaign to raise awareness among citizens and authorities about the dangers of gas-fired gas cylinders. In case of any risk of explosion in apartments or premises, citizens are kindly requested to inform the City Hall's Central Dispatch.
