All foreign citizens, invited by the Government or by the central administration authorities, will be exempted from the invitations procedure when issuing an entry visa on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The plenum of the Parliament voted in today's meeting to amend the Law on the regime of aliens in the Republic of Moldova in the first reading.
 
According to the authors, the legislative changes will contribute to the increase of the flow of natural and legal persons who will visit the Republic of Moldova, which will facilitate the economic cooperation and attraction of investments. More foreign business people and multinational companies will be able to establish direct contacts with the business community and Moldovan authorities in order to conduct market studies for possible investment projects.
 
The Republic of Moldova offers fiscal and customs facilities within free economic zones and opportunities within industrial parks.
 
At present, only foreign citizens invited by the Government or central government authorities are exempted from invitations in the context of investment projects of interest to the national economy.
 
The project is to be voted on in final reading.
