The introduction of the European vector into the Supreme Law does not seem to appeal to PSRM deputies. Today, at the legislative meeting, the Socialist deputy, Vlad Batrincea, seems to have poor understanding of the introduction of the European integration phrase, considering that the voting of this law would violate the values of other citizens.

"However, the constitution is the supreme law and are legal mechanisms, and we are interested in why decisions of major national interest are not taken by referendum as constituted by the constitution. If this provision will exist and will be constitutional, it means that all those who promote other values can be held accountable and you risk cutting out half the country that believes in something else.

During the meeting, Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu explained that the citizens' freedom of opinion will not be restricted because the strategic objective of the Republic of Moldova is the development of the country.

"Where he writes here in the amendments we propose in the constitution that the freedom of opinion is limited, or that the citizens or the politicians do not have the right to have another opinion."
