The authorities recovered 1,6 billion lei of the money stolen from the three banks have been recovered. The data was presented by the Governor of the National Bank and the chief of the National Anti-Corruption Center within the searches in the Parliament. The recovered sum by the National Bank is almost 1,3 billion lei, the rest have been recovered by NAC.

"I mean, of these money, 18% come from the sale of the assets owned by the property. The rest of the money comes from the proceeds, from the sale of the pledge, from the repayment of credits or from forced receipts",  said Sergiu Cioclea, the governor of the NBM.

"7.7 billion is the sum of the damage on the criminal files sent to the court with the identification of the beneficiaries. 1.9 billion is the amount of the damage in the investigated files with the identified beneficiaries and 1.06 billion is the amount of the damage where the final beneficiaries are not yet identified", said Bogdan Zumbreanu, chief of CNA.

The deputies asked the officials if some political parties in the current
have funded their electoral campaign against the stolen money.

"At that time in 2014, as claimed by Cioclea, Banca de Economii, which was controlled by PLDM, the assets were removed. The question arises that the 2014 PLDM pre-election campaign of the money stolen from the Bank of Economies", said Corneliu Dudnic, deputy PDM.

"As far as the financing of the electoral campaign is concerned, if we have clear evidence, you will know", Zumbreanu pointed out.

The Liberal Democrats criticized the report presented by CNA and NBM.

"If we think about the electoral campaign in 2014, let us think that with a high probability of the money that was fraudulent, from the bank fraud, the electoral campaign was made of some parties." The three banks have been liquidated in 2015. According to the strategy for the recovery of stolen money, presented at the beginning of the year by the General Prosecutor's Office, of the amount of 10.7 billion lei, which remained at the NBM's account, in court criminal cases have been sent in which the final beneficiaries are known, and the damage of 5.6 billion lei has already been investigated.

The decisions will be enforced in the following criminal cases: the fraud of 52 million lei by Rusu convicts, in the case of Caravita, 472 million, stolen by Vlad Filat, and for the theft of 869 million lei, after the grace is Veaceslav Platon . Sentences of first instance conviction are Ilan Şor and Chiril Lucinschi.

There are also cases in the court of first instance amounting to 1.38 billion lei targeting the Gacichevici group, and 485 million on behalf of Unibank people.

At the same time, the cases referring to another 1.9 billion lei are at the stage of criminal prosecution and are to be sent to court.
