Mobile mammograms arrived in localities from the country. Today, specialists will perform breast screening free of charge for all women who want to check their health.

The first mobile team arrived at a bakery from the capital, where the employees of the institution had the opportunity to test free of charge, while the doctors came up with recommendations for the prevention of breast cancer.

In this context, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Silvia Radu, visited mobile digital radiography to make sure that all equipment is functional and to urge women to make use of this possibility to perform breast screening for work.

"I know that women who work a lot do not have time to get to the doctor for a check, so we take the doctors to them. It is important that women periodically take control of this kind, because once the disease is discovered in time, Breast cancer is treated and can be cured, but it is important to discover it as soon as possible", said Silvia Radu.

Two other mobile mammography teams have arrived today in Straseni and Peresecina.
