Family from Sangerei started business. They produce preserves of fruit and vegetables
A woman from Bilicenii Vechi village, Sangerei district opened a business. Alina Daraban produces preserves of fruits and vegetables. According to her, the most requested are the jams made of watermelon and Acacia flowers.
"This jam is made of water melon. To prepare it we need one kilo of water melon, one kilo of sugar, 200 grams of water and one lemon."
Alina Daraban grows water melons for already six years. The woman decided to prepare preserves, for not losing the products. This is how she started to succeed.
"It is better to buy the product that is already prepared, than to prepare it by yourself", said Alina Daraban, entrepreneur.
Her three children help her. Recently, the family benefited of a grant worth 160 thousand lei, due to "Business women" project. The family bought the required equipment for their business.
"We think to sell the products abroad, but we need to invest more", said Alina Daraban, entrepreneur.
The woman says that she uses a traditional recipe to preserve the products.
"My mother works abroad since I was 10. I grew up with my grandmother. She taught me everything", said Alina Daraban.
The customers are satisfied about the products.
"We live in the village. It is very healthy to cultivate natural products", said a woman.
A jar of jam costs between 30 and 50 lei.
