Wage reform is not a simple law on salary increases, it is a law that comes to clean up the wage system. The statement was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip at a press conference.
"This law is not a simple law on wage increases, it is a law that comes to make order in the budget payroll system. So far we had a multitude of separate laws for different structures, separate wage laws, and there is no fairness, because we could have the same people of the same category with different salaries, gained over bonuses and added to salaries and supplements following the effort of everybody who could have lobbied these interests through Parliament for years. This will be a unitary law, it will be a single law on salaries in the Republic of Moldova's budget system. and then this money, the state budget has and will always have it, and it is very important and this law should be respected", said Pavel Filip.
At the same time, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said that there is no need to rectify the budget law. The government has this year's budget law and the salaries provided by this law, they will be paid according to the law in force and later in December according to the law that will be approved.
