The Department of Riflemen Troops will be reorganized into the Riflemen General Inspectorate. The draft law in was voted by deputies today in two readings.
According to the authors, by reforming the institution in our country will be created a dual police system in which structures of civil police and riflemen with military status.
The main mission of the General Inspectorate of the Riflemen will be the restoration of public order, and the police - the maintenance of public order.
The future structure will be administered by a General Command, and its head will be appointed by the Government on a proposal from the Minister of the Interior.
The dual police system is also applied in countries of the European Union such as Romania, Italy or France.
