Thousands of private sector employees will have higher wages, up to 10%

Thousands of employees from private companies in our country enjoy the positive results of tax reform. Just one month after the entry into force of this document, they will have bigger salaries, up to 10%.
Employers have decided to increase wages in savings they have managed to make as a result of reduced tax on income from 18 to 12%. And employers' social contributions fell by 5 percentage points.
Igor Ungureanu is one of the businessmen who decided shortly after the fiscal reform to increase the leverage of over 500 employees of the pastry he leads.
"Thanks to this reform and, in principle, the sum of the savings amounts somewhere to 500,000 lei a year. A 15-day-old confectioner with a salary of 4,200-4,500 lei now receives 5000-5 200 lei, "said the business manager of a pastry, Igor Ungureanu.
The 1500 employees of a network of hypermarkets in the capital will also enjoy salary increases. The employer has allowed this year to raise salary twice. At the beginning of the year, people received an increase of 11%, and after the tax reform, salaries will increase by another 7 percent.
"This was possible due to the fact that people's incomes and the purchasing power are increasing. These things have an impact on our company's money and income", said Natalia Camcerova, accountant of a network of stores.
The tax reform came into force on 1 October. The document provides for both the increase of the incomes of the population and the stimulation of the business environment, the reduction of the shadow economy, the fight against wage phenomena in the envelope, the tax evasion and the undeclared income. At the same time, following the reform, small salaries of up to two thousand lei are not taxed, which is a premiere.
