Economic agents refunded to consumers in January-September approximately one million lei as a compensation. Money has been offered as a result of the sale of products or the provision of poor quality services. Over 1,200 complaints have been filed with the Consumer Protection Agency. In addition to the repaid money, 45 economic agents were also elected with fines totaling over 170,000 lei.
The inspectors examined about 800 petitions. More than 300 have been readmitted to other authorities, and 143 are still being examined.
The most frequent cases of infringement of consumer rights are registered in the services sector, with almost 400 petitions being filed. Most consumers complain about maintenance services. 91 people were dissatisfied with their quality. Chimes and taxi services.
