Two Moldovans were deprived of a driving license, after the Sculeni crossing point police officers noticed that the acts were false. It happened on the way out of the country.In the first case a driver from Tiraspol is criminal investigated. He was driving a Volkswagen Crafter. Thus, as a result of the checks, among the travel documents was also found the car license issued by the national authorities, which lacked certain signs of protection.
The young man said he did not know about this illegality.In the second case, a resident of Nisporeni, as a passenger on the Moldova-Italy route, raised suspicions during the identification of passengers and was subjected to additional checks. As a result,
a personal Moldovan identity was found to be a new type of Moldovan driving license that proved to be false.The papers were lifted and sent for expertise. Guilty persons are liable to a fine of up to 650 conventional units, unpaid community service from 150 to 200 hours or up to 2 years in prison.
