NBS: Moldovans received higher salaries in 2018. Amounts exceeded 330 euros

                          The average salary in Moldova exceeded 330 euros, at the average exchange rate of the European currency. Statistical data shows that in the 3 rd quarter of 2018 the gross average earning was 6,507 lei, registering an increase compared to the same period last year.
At an average rate of 19.49 lei for one euro, the average fee reaches over 330 euros per month.
The same statistics also reveal that in the budgetary sphere the average monthly average in July, August and September was 5 624 lei, a 12.7% increase compared to the third quarter of 2017, and in the real sector - 6 845 lei, ie an advance of 11.6%.
Real wage growth, excluding the inflation rate, was 8.9% in the third quarter of 2018.
IDIS expert Viitorul Veaceslav Ioniţă previously wrote that for the first time, the average salary for the economy exceeded 300 euros per month.
Subsequently, the director of the Market Economy Institute, Roman Chirca, was convinced that the average remuneration for the economy will continue to grow due to the effects of the "small tax reform" implemented since 1 October.
This includes, among other things, the introduction of a flat tax rate of 12 percent, the doubling of the personal exemption for the employee and the 5 percent reduction in social security contributions for the employer.
