Upgrading the infrastructure, opening a museum and building a sports hall. There are projects that Budesti City Hall wants to put into practice by the end of 2019. The initiatives were announced at the Democratic Party Forum, held in Budesti.
"It is necessary to prolong the projects that have begun in Budesti locality, drinking water supply, sewerage and road repairs. We have already identified a building that, with the support of the Government, is returned to the city hall's balance sheet to transform it into a museum of the locality", said Nina Costiuc, mayor of Budesti.
Step by step, all localities in the country will modernize their infrastructure, as the current government will continue the reforms that have begun. Such as "Good roads for Moldova", wages or pensions increase.
"We have done our best to increase billions of dollars in the budget, we have stable economic growth. And all of this, in the end, is only important if people feel these changes", said Sergiu Sirbu, vice-president of DPM.
"We are convinced that we are determined that with such projects we will go with such reforms over the next period. A strong and united team can deliver expected results", said DPM deputy Rotary,.
Forum participants say that reforms initiated by the authorities are delivering results.
"I work in the kindergarten and I know that wages will increase in December, if it is true that it is said to be 40 percent, it is clear that a higher salary is always beneficial", said Silvia Tuchila, educator in Cricova.
"Our commune is from three villages and practically asphalt in all three kilometers of the road. All this was done only with the support of the government and with the support of the Democratic Party," Victor Slobozeanu, said deputy mayor of Ciorescu.
"We also feel, as an institution, the economic and financial part related to the salary increases", said Maricica Proca, director of Budesti Youth Center.
At the end of the event, new members received party cards. The Forum gathered people from 13 suburbs of Chisinau.
