The number of employed Moldovans increased. Over one million 370 thousand persons are employed. This is 9% more than in the IIIrd semester of 2017.

43% of them work in the services field, but, comparing to the previous year, this number decreased. 40% (560 thousands) are involved in Agriculture, which is 90 thousand more than in 2017.

The data also shows that over 150 thousand Moldovans have chosen to work in industry. The previous year, their number was over 134 thousands. Also, the statistics show that at least 81 thousand people are employed in constructions field.
