157 carabiners will move to a hostel that is offered to them by the state. The building is new. The carabiners won't pay a rent, they only have to pay for the electricity.

Tudor Stegarescu works in the department of the carabiners troops for one year and a half. Before, he was paying up to three thousand lei for the rent. Now, he will save this money.

"The job that I had before was too far from my work. Here is better", said Tudor Stegarescu, carabiner.

Maria Oprea also received a room. She works for a couple of months. Before, she living in another hostel.

"Here is more comfortable", said Maria Oprea.

Only the carabiners who are not marries benefit of this project.

The renovation of this building costed eight million lei. The money was allocated by the Minister of Internal Affairs. The chief of the institution came at the inauguration.

"We will continue to implement such projects in the near future. We also have some service flats on Testemiteanu street", said Alexandru Jizdan, the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Today, the Carabiners troop celebrates its 27th birthday.
