Pavel Filip about people who leave the country: This problem can't be solved in a year or two
The Government realized an analysis of the Moldovans who leave the country. According to the prime minister, the main reasons are the low salaries, the bad quality of the medical services and medicines. At the tribune of the Parliament, Pavel Filip recognized it.
At the same time, Pavel Filip gave some examples initiated by the Government to convince the young to stay in Moldova.
"It is a big problem for Moldova. We tried to have a pragmatic approach as we had in other cases. Everybody criticizes that people are going abroad at the same time from none of those who have come up with criticism so far I have not heard any solution. We have made an analysis, we have tried to identify all the problems and causes underlying the departure abroad. I have to admit it is a problem that can not be solved in a year or two.
The approach must be broad, complex. It's not just a small salary. It is about the quality of medical services, educational services, infrastructure, many other things that our citizens find abroad. The analysis I made has brought forth the departure of young people who do not see a prospect of buying a home here at home. That's why I came up with a First House program, which was really much criticized at the initial stage that made it very good.
In parallel, we come with other programs for those who are gone and can come back home. The program looks like 1 + 1, Start program for young people who want to launch a home business, etc.
I have all the certainty that we will get into the situation when people will not leave and on the contrary will come back home. We need to be aware that the approach must be complex", said Premier Pavel Filip.
