Memorandum of Agreement and Mutual Cooperation between Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine, signed in Tbilisi
A new round of talks in the trilateral communication platform between Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine took place today in Tbilisi .
Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic together with Georgian State Minister for Civic Reconciliation and Equality, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and the Minister for the Temporary Occupied Territories and Ukraine's Internally Displaced Persons, Vadim Cernas, addressed a series of issues of common interest concerning unresolved conflicts.
At the end of the meeting took place the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding and Mutual Cooperation between the Reintegration Office of the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova, the Office of the Georgian State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.
This document establishes an interdepartmental trilateral platform for exchanging good practices in the field of reintegration policies for territories that are not under the control of the States Parties and initiating in-depth regional co-operation in identifying ways of mutual support.
The trilateral meeting is a continuation of the dialogue, which was initiated in November during the visits of Ministers of Georgia and Ukraine to Chisinau.
