The retired who managed to receive an aid of 600 lei will spend this money to buy products for the holiday table. The beneficiaries of this project are the retired whose pension is lower than two thousand lei.

Veronica Buzu from Peresecina has a long list of things she should buy.

"I need to buy presents for my grandchildren. I am happy that I received this aid", said Veronica Buzu, retired.

Zinaida already made the holiday shopping. She says she has plans on these holidays.

"This is great that I received this allowance. It is very useful. I will do the Christmas shopping", said Zinaida Buzu.

Costin family benefited of an allowance worth 1200 lei.

"This year, the allowance will be of a great use. I am very happy", said Gheorghe Costin, retired.

The retired stay in rows at the post officers to receive the allowance.

This initiative belongs to Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of DPM. On his Facebook page, the politician reiterated that the Governance want to support the citizens during the holidays.

Altogether, 550 thousand citizens will benefit of allowances. In this sense, 326 million lei was allocated.
