Investigation's verdict: Nicolae Testemiteanu University of Medicine and Pharmacy didn't offer fake diplomas
Nicolae Testemiteanu University of Medicine and Pharmacy didn't offer fake diplomas. This conclusion belongs to the commission of the Ministry of Health and Education that analyzed the folders of 300 foreign students. The commission was made after the scandal that the university gives fake diplomas for Israeli students.
The members of the commission and the head of the university denies the accusations according to which, many Israeli students were getting fake diplomas of graduating Armenia institution.
"The commission found out that the information is false. All the folders of the foreign students have been analyzed", declared igor Sarov, general state secretary of the Education Minister.
The commission analyzed aleatory folders.
"We checked all the steps. We consider that everything was done right", said Ion Ababii, USMF dean.
Starting 1995 until 2018, over three thousand foreign students graduated USMF. It is the first time when the institution faces such a scandal.
"This information is fake. It is not possible to release fake diplomas, because the graduation process is a transparent one. The dean and the president of the graduation commission make everything possible for the process to be fair", said Andrei Mostovei, deputy dean at the Dentistry Faculty.
Three weeks ago, an investigation regarding some Israeli students who got fake USMF diplomas appeared. According to the investigation, these students were paying 15 thousand Euro for the diplomas. According ti the prosecutors, over 200 students got fake diplomas. The leader of the group is a young from Syria who had accomplices in Chisinau and Yerevan.
