Kozlowska, quoted by PCCOCS. President of Open Dialog Foundation will be heard on December 27th
The president of the Open Dialog Foundation, Ludmila Kozlowska, was quoted in the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes. It is to be heard in a criminal case with several counts, including money laundering, espionage and illegal funding of political parties.
PCCOCS Deputy Head Vitalie Busuioc spoke to our TV station that Ludmila Kozlowska is being summoned to the hearing on December 27 at 14:00 as a suspect.
On the other hand, in a Facebook post, the president of the Open Diaalog stated that he is looking for a lawyer to clarify the situation, without specifying whether he will prosecute prosecutors in Chisinau.
Lawyers opened a file on money laundering, spying and illegal party funding following a report by a special parliamentary committee.
The document found that the foundation run by Kozlowska is also funded by Russian secret services.
In Moldova, it has interfered with internal politics through the convicted Veaceslav Platon, who is also nicknamed CIS number one raider.
The parliamentary committee has determined that those who have benefited from Open Dialog funding are politicians Andrei Nastase and Maia Sandu, who previously acknowledged that they have been traveling abroad paid by the foundation.
Most of the information included in the commission's report was also confirmed by the former deputy head of the NAC Prevention and Anti-Money Laundering Service, Mihail Gofman, in an interview for the investigative portal zeppelin.md.
