The socialists entered the electoral race by presenting the names of the candidates for the position of deputy both on the party list and constituencies.
Thus, on the PSRM list is the former prime minister, the current Socialist Party chairman, Zinaida Greceanii, followed by the MP Vlad Bătrâncea. Municipal councilor Ion Ceban is in third place.
From the tribune of the Republican Council, the leader of the Socialists proposed to Igor Dodon to be the head of the list. Although the constitutional experts claim that Igor Dodon can not participate in the elections because he holds the head of state chair, he announced that he will make a decision in this regard within a month.
