The person who robbed the Capital Cathedral last week was detained.

The police says that he attacked the guard of the church and stole jewelries.

The man is 34 year old and comes from Cantemir district.

While detaining him, he had some of the objects that he stole.

Meanwhile, the employee of the church recovers at the hospital. 

If found guilty, the man risks up to 15 years behind bars.
