During the New Year's holiday, more than 23 drivers got drunk driving but were stopped by the INP and removed from the wheel of the car.
A similar case occurred recently on Vlaicu Pîrcălab Street in the Capital, where patrol inspectors noticed in traffic a car that was inadequate. At the signal to stop, the driver deliberately ignored the inspectors' requirements, continuing his excessive speeds on Vasile Alecsandri street, avoiding the red traffic lights and other road markings, which is why INP inspectors began tracking him, which lasted until Ialoveni, where he was locked up and forced to stop the car.
The driver is intoxicated, but refused to pass the alcohol test, for which he is criminally documented. Because he did not want to present any identity documents, the driver was escorted to IP Ialoveni, and his car was taken to the special paid car park.
As a result of the checks, it was established that a 24-year-old man from the village of Cojusna, Straseni district, was documented at the wheel of the car, which was previously documented three times for driving a car in a state of intoxication.
In this context, as well as to prevent serious incidents in traffic, INP recommends drivers not to drive the car if they have drunk alcoholic beverages. At the same time, it is important to note that each traffic participant is required to comply with the legal requirements of patrol inspectors and behave appropriately, otherwise they will be sanctioned under the law in force.
