The abundant snow put one more layer over Moldova. The biggest quantity of snow fall in Chisinau and Codrii village from Telenesti district. Here, the snow layer reached 32 centimeters.

In Dubasari, the snow layer is 29 centimeters, in Leova 24. In Comrat 18 cm, in Falesti 17. In Cahul, Balti and Briceni - 10 cm.

The metheorologists forecast seven Celsius degrees below zero in the north of the country and four Celsius degrees below zero in the south of the country.

At the same time, the Hidrologic Service says that the ice layers on the rivers and lakes will be also covered by snow, which is dangerous. The warning will expire on January 18.
